We at TN Dizzy Dean would like to send our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences to the family of Jerry Harris.

Mr. Harris was heavily involved in Dizzy Dean Baseball in Tennessee, serving as a State Director and Umpire Coordinator throughout much of the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. After retiring in recent years, Jerry spent much of his time watching his grandchildren play sports and helping with sports leagues in the Athens, Tennessee, area.

Jerry was truly one of the good ones, and he will be greatly missed by the Dizzy Dean family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Jerry. 🙏⚾
