This week, our dancers had the privilege of learning from Mr. Carter Alexander during EPAC Summer IIntensive Week 2.
Currently Chair of Dance and Professor of Practice at SMU Meadows School of the Arts, Mr. Carter has enjoyed an accomplished career as a professional dancer, educator, choreographer, and mentor, helping guide countless young artists toward successful careers in dance.
For Director Liz Keller, his visit was especially meaningful. Years ago, Mr. Carter served as Principal Faculty at Miami City Ballet School while Liz danced with the company and trained within the school. To now welcome him to share his expertise with our dancers is a true full-circle moment.
Thank you, Mr. Carter, for your generosity, knowledge, and investment in the next generation of artists. We are so grateful for your time and contributions to our summer program. And thank you to our entire summer faculty for a tremendous two weeks!
