Good afternoon everyone. We hope everyone is doing ok after these recent storms. We want to take a moment to thank all the first responders, dispatchers, nipsco workers, and everyone else that has been helping their neighbors and their communities recover after this devastating storm. It truly takes a village.
We have a few updates for you. As of right now, the store has power, but no internet. That being said, we will be OPEN tomorrow during our normal business hours, but we will be CASH ONLY until the internet situation gets fixed. As usual, if something changes, we will update you here. Hopefully it gets resolved sooner than later, but we know there's a lot going on.
Beyond that, as some of you may know, there was a recent injunction against parts of the NFA that began at midnight. We are excited to see these early stages of changes, and hope they continue to move in our favor. That being said, this is an unprecedented situation that is not as clear cut as some of the headlines make it seem. The short answer, is the NFA is still law. We are waiting for clarification from the ATF and lawyers to determine our next steps. The management team is trying our best to get the answers as quick as we can, to provide the best service we can.
At this point in time, we will be continuing to follow the current procedure for NFA items. This means filing a form 4 as we have been doing. THIS MAY CHANGE as guidance becomes available to FFLs.
I ask that you be kind to our staff as we figure out how to proceed. If you have any questions or have any issues, feel free to discuss it with Nico, Sam, or Bill. We will do our best to help.
All of us at the shop believe firmly in our 2nd amendment rights and are excited to see changes being made to remove some of the burden from law abiding Americans, but we also don't want to cause legal issues for the shop, or our customers.
We appreciate all of you, and keep helping your neighbors.
