🍺Hot off the presses! Courtesy of Mass Crane and Hoist Services Inc., the first 100 runners/walkers to register for the Dunstable Oktoberfest 5K will receive a complimentary b**r or w**e ticket (or non-alcoholic beverage) to redeem with the B**r Guy at Oktoberfest after the race. 🍺

Registration is now open for the 2026 Dunstable Oktoberfest 5K! Last year, more than 100 runners and walkers kicked off Oktoberfest weekend by participating in the race before enjoying a day of food, entertainment, and community fun at the annual festival. Oktoberfest and the 5K will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The Recreation Commission encourages participants to register early to help ensure the minimum number of runners needed to hold the event. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit Boston Children’s Hospital and the Dunstable Recreation Commission.

Whether you’re a competitive runner, casual walker, or simply looking for a fun way to start the day, the Oktoberfest 5K is great for all participants. Registration is $40 per runner and you can register online at dunstable-ma.gov/oktoberfest5k.

Albert Harris Senior Center – 37 Nashua Road Pepperell MA

In collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Lowell and with funding from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute, we are offering a free, 8-week, in-person Digital Literacy course. Designed for beginners, the course will introduce participants to essential computer and internet skills, including creating and using an email account, sending and receiving emails, searching the internet effectively, creating Word documents, and an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI). Participants who complete the course will receive a free Chromebook.

This class will be held at Albert Harris Senior Center, 37 Nashua Road Pepperell MA.
