Butterscotch has been living at barn for over 12 yrs since we adopted her in July 2014. She was completely feral at the time but has warmed up a little in the years since she arrived but is in no way a lap cat. Today she was in her favorite spot looking out the hay loft door and watching the happenings...

Weekend / Evening Barn Assistant Position Open

Sterling Riding Stables (SRS) in Groton, MA is looking for part time barn staff to work Sunday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and/or a few weeknights 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

SRS is private horse boarding facility located on 12 acres. A total of 15 horses are located on the property. We specialize in providing a friendly atmosphere with excellent care. We have many boarders who have been with us for 10 years or more.

The ideal candidate has prior experience working with horses, reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, and is organized. If experience includes animals other than horses, we are willing to train for the right person.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Feeding
- Turn out / in
- Stall mucking
- Paddock cleaning
