7/13 Dubs Results:

We had 16 out last night with a few safari holes in the mix (T1-H2, T17-H18).

Ryan and Tony shot the hot round at -13 taking home the gold. Genter and Marnie locked up 2nd place with a -11. Tony also parked H17 to go home with some extra CTP cash.

🚨Triple Update🚨

I missed a couple weeks, so we'll be recapping the past few weeks here- we've had some great weather and great scores!

6/15:

We had 19 out on the 15th, playing some tougher temp holes. At the end of the day Tyler and Jimmy Robison were able to hold onto the top spot. Coming in 1 stroke behind them was teams Tim Christopher/ Sean Johnston and Tyler L/ Josh Harmon.

6/29:

15 made it out on the 29th, playing the normal "Eagles Detour Loop" (H1,2,8 twice). Jay Madarasz and Dave Rougeux were able to lock in for first place, with Logan Hall and Ryan T right behind them in 2nd. More importantly Jim got his first CTP! Its pretty easy when you put it to 2 feet😎

7/6:

Another night with some temp holes (Thank you Sean and Tony!) Sean's basket brought some good karma as he and Jay cruised to a 🔥-16 finish. Tony and Logan were not far behind, coming in 2nd at -14. We had a double chance at CTP (two different tee shots to the temp basket) and Steve Baranowski was able to go home with some CTP cash🤑

6/8 Dubs Results:

Monday night brought 16 out to Kerr Park to fight for the top 2 spots. Thank you to Eric Bocich and Tony Hoffer for bringing and setting up temp baskets- this week we added 2 temp holes, plus a fun ace run from H16 tee to H17.

While there were a lot of competitive scores two teams ultimatwly ran away with it- Sean and Mitch, plus team "temp baskets" BOTH shot a 🔥 round of -16🤯. It took 8 holes to break the tie (following 7 more birdies each)- Karma was one their side and Eric and Tony finally pulled away with the solo birdie on H8.

Tony was also able to go home with the CTP🤑

6/1 Dubs Results: (sorry we've been slacking on the updates, but we're back!)

We had 17 out on a beautiful Monday night last night. Thank you goes out to Sean Johnston, Josh Harmon and Tony Hoffer for bringing and setting up our temporary baskets for our extra 3 holes- two near the parking lot, and the fan favorite near Hole 13 (that tee pad will definitely be used again!)

Tony's good karma helped propel him and D.s. Pond to a 1st place win, shooting the hot round of -14🔥 teams Jay Madarasz/Paul Andris & Dave Rougeux/ Eric Bocich plus team IM (Tim and Jim) went to H1 for a playoff for 2nd where Eric crushed his drive for the holes only birdie.

Tyler put his shot on H5 to about 4ft, sending him home with some CTP cash as well.

***Hole 13 Closed Sun 5/31***

Downingtown Parks and Rec is hosting the Gallery Walk this Sunday, May 31st.
This will impact Hole 13, closing it for the majority of the day, due to pedestrian traffic in the area. Please plan your round accordingly.

As always, if there’s ever a risk of hitting an unsuspecting pedestrian, best practice is to not throw.

**IMPORTANT INFO***

Within the next day or so, holes 9, 10, and 11 will be fenced off and closed for the foreseeable future…hopefully not too long.
This is due to the Eagles nest and their new Eaglets, and is in coordination with State Game Officials/Warden.

DO NOT HOP THE FENCE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

If someone else does, that’s on them, but let’s continue to be the good neighbors we’ve always been, respect the boundaries, and be good examples of what disc golf is.

A new layout has been created on UDisc called ‘The Eagles Detour’. It eliminates the closed holes, and adds 1, 2, & 8 on the back end for a full 18.
