Please remember the registration deadline for the Uechi Invitation Tournament is this Saturday, March 21!

On Sunday, March 29 the New England Martial Arts Foundation (NEMAF) will be holding a charity tournament at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester, NH. Newly founded, NEMAF was formed by members of our organization, Buzz Durkin's Uechiryu Butokukai, to financially aid those in need who would benefit from martial arts training. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards this charity fund.
While not a requirement as part of training, students of all ages and ranks are encouraged to participate in this event as it is a great way for students to bring their karate to a higher level, meet fellow practitioners, and to improve their confidence presenting in front of a crowd. Events at the tournament include:

Kata (Uechiryu and Non-Uechiryu divisions)
Team (Kumite, Synchronized Kata, Family Synchronized Kata)
Point Fighting
Weapons
Kid's Obstacle Course

Unfortunately, due to illness the special training classes scheduled for Friday, March 13 will be cancelled. Please remember the dojo will also be closed Saturday for Black Belt Testing.

Leith Karate Academy will be holding and open workout for adult and teen students this Friday, March 13 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Please register in advance if you would like to attend.

Leith Karate Academy will be holding the follow classes this Friday, February 13:

5:00pm – 5:45pm | Jr. Students Tournament Prep Class White – Blue Belt
6:00pm – 6:45pm | Jr. Students Tournament Prep Class Purple – Brown Belt
7:00pm – 8:00pm | Adult/Teen All Ranks Class

The focus of the tournament prep class will be kata. Students who are not planning on attending the tournament in March are also welcome to attend if they would like to fine tune their kata. If you would like to attend class please RSVP in advance.
