We checked out these three today for National Adopt a Shelter Dog Day through Wiregrass Pets Rescue and Adoption, and they’re all looking for their people.

Whether you’re local or just in town for a stay, this is an easy way to experience Dothan a little differently. Not ready to adopt? Take one of these pups out for a quick lunch break walk or a “brain fog reset.” You get fresh air and a change of pace, they get enrichment and a break from the kennel. Everybody wins.

A small detour and a better day for you and for them.

We spent the morning at Wherry Meadows Farm and want you to come along! 🌿🐮✨ This family-owned farm is home to AHCA Registered Highland cows, miniature donkeys, babydoll sheep, and more. They offer farm visits, cow cuddling, photography, and special events. 🌷🐑 Make sure to follow their page to stay in the know!
