🚨🌡️SAT SEPT 19th Schedule Update🌡️🚨
Based on tomorrow’s heat advisory we will be moving our schedule up 2 hours to accommodate as many games as possible- this means All games will have at least a 2 hour earlier start time (except for U18 which will play their game during practice tonight or next week)!
A new schedule for tomorrow will be posted later this afternoon, but we wanted to give everyone a heads up since this is a last min adjustment for safety!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our opening weekend successful! We wanted to touch base on a few items as our season is underway!

‼️ Heat warning. Through this week & weekend our area is still at risk for heat exposure & warnings. Please be mindful of our heat policy. We know this isn’t ideal, but no practices should be held when temps are 92° or above. We need both coaches and parents to be mindful of this policy as different practice times yield different temps.
Depending on exact temp 87.8-91.9° weather requires multiple water breaks and no more than 1 hour of practice.
🥅 Depending on heat, we will be attempting to change out nets this Friday from 5-7. All parents are welcome to help. For clarity, our league provides/replaces all nets Annually (and often times seasonally), but they are used by everyone who visit the soccer fields & wear out quickly depending on use.
🍁 Fall Break for Dickson Co schools is quickly approaching (Oct 5th-16th). This encompass 3 soccer weekends, so please let your coaches know ASAP if you will be out for games Oct 3rd, 10th or 17th. We would like to get any schedule adjustments or cancels handled ahead of time to provide ample notice for all families.

🌩️🌩️Fields have been cleared for lightning as of 5:42.
Practices can resume if there is no lightning for 15 min.
If practices are stalled for 30 min or more they will be canceled for the night 🌩️🌩️

‼️UPDATE‼️
Cross Country is at the park today & collecting parking fees at the top of the hill/ entry into the fields. This is causing a delay/backup. Pleas be prepared to stop- but DCSA families DO NOT pay to park.

As we continue to navigate the extreme temperatures we wanted to reiterate our Heat Guidelines. Many teams practice on Fridays, and we want to make sure coaches and parents are aware of these protocols.
In partnership with TSSA we follow the guidelines set forth by USSF through “Recognize to Recover” - US Soccer’s Comprehensive Player Health & Safert Program. This info can be found here:
