Great debut for KJ Speed 1st track meet of the year in Toledo, OH!
KJ Speed was able to capture the team title on both men and women side. We brought home 67 total medals!

Say hello to your 100m Regional Champion, KJ Speeds own sophomore Vernall Lee of the Martin Luther King Crusaders! This kid is one of the most coachable athletes I have ever coached. He knows how to separate himself and remain focus. He runs anything I ask him to run with no complaining. He talks very little and let his actions speak loud. He’s just a sophomore. He has run into a negative head wind with cold weather every meet this year. Can’t wait to get a day with no wind!

Disclaimer: This meet did not have a wind gauge. However, I had my own and we had it placed at the 50 yard line. The wind was -5.
