SPARTAN SPIRIT: MEET JESSICA 💙

This week’s featured Spartan is Jessica, a second-year veteran bringing talent, energy and plenty of personality to the Colorado Spartans Dancers!

When Jessica isn’t performing, she works as an engineer and enjoys baking in her free time. This St. Louis native loves Tate McRae, dark chocolate, pandas, Caribbean vacations and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

She’s also an early bird, a planner, an overpacker and definitely choosing Chipotle over Qdoba!

Her favorite words to live by come from Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

As free agency continues, we’re highlighting the players who have set the standard for what it means to be a Colorado Spartan.

Bizzet Woodley hasn’t just set the standard in Colorado—he has established himself among the best wide receivers in the National Arena League.

Over his last two seasons with the Spartans:

🏈 19 regular-season games
🔥 934 receiving yards
🔥 24 touchdown receptions
🏆 1,027 total yards including the playoffs
🏆 27 total touchdowns including the playoffs

Among all NAL receivers:

⚔️ First or tied for first in touchdown receptions in back-to-back seasons
⚔️ Top two in receiving yards in back-to-back seasons
⚔️ 2024–25: No. 1 in touchdown receptions and No. 2 in receiving yards
⚔️ 2025–26: Tied for No. 1 in touchdown receptions and No. 2 in receiving yards

Woodley doubled his regular-season touchdown production from eight to 16 while increasing his receiving total from 365 to 569 yards.
