Every player who steps onto the court wearing Pilipinas on their chest deserves credit for the work it took to get there.
This current Alas Pilipinas squad shouldn’t have to prove their worth by being compared to past teams. We should also acknowledge the effort, commitment, and sacrifices of the athletes representing the country today.
Supporting Philippine volleyball shouldn’t require choosing sides. Players who accepted the opportunity to play and those who decided not to are both deserving of respect. Different paths, different circumstances—but the same love for the sport and the country.
