Weather getting warmer everyday and the fish are on the move!

Before the fishing season ended my son Kevin and I got a chance to fish together for a couple days. We had two days together and caught all kinds of fish to fill the freezer. What was interesting is that it started out slow and we thought we weren’t going to find any fish but as we continued looking we found what we were looking for. Just a couple birds and some bait told us we found the right spot. Then we threw the lures and started getting bites. Once we had enough casting we fished the bottom with some green crabs and tautog were hungry. All in all it was a great way to close out the season.

At Thanksgiving we smoked some of that fish and it came out great. Looking forward to being back out there in the spring!

It doesn’t have to be the biggest fish in the ocean, all it has to be is the biggest one someone has ever reeled in and the look on their face says it all, smiles across the board
