We have put the car on the lift and it will sit this weekend. No one local is running us again so we will take the time to get a few personal things finished. Go Support a track this weekend if you can.

Last weekend we made our first trip to Smokey Mountain. I tried a new set up on the car and was off on my RF bad. It had the car upset in a horrible way. We had all the help we could ever ask for and we are very thankful for that. Most of our racing family was there and we were thankful to see some we have not seen since last year.

We were awful no matter what we tried or where I went on the race track. I would lose the front-end and then the back would lose all side bite and drive. Its 100% my mess up and I hate I let everyone down. I was 1inch off on setup and it made the car almost un drivable.

But we will gather back up and hit another track in a week or two. Thank you everyone for the support and we will have a video up soon.

Made our first trip to smokey last night to make some laps with the Cumberland Series. Ended up fighting a front end issue. We had changed alot of the set up and never had the front of the car step out like it was doing. Made several changes and just couldnt get it sorted out. So we made a few laps to get our start money and pulled in.

We are going to get the car cleaned up and go back over it and see what I missed on the right front.

Hmmm...the only thing that sucks about crusa is they are Hoosier only. Really needs the option for any brand

***Effective Immediately***

Whynot Motorsports Park will no longer run the Open Wheel Modified class. This was a very difficult decision to make, but we feel it is the right decision. The Open Wheel Modifieds have been declining in our area over the last few years. This year at Whynot we have averaged less than 4 entries and the last 2 events we only had to 2 show up. The participation is just not there. We do want to thank the one’s who have supported the Open Wheel Modified class at Whynot Motorsports Park.

That being said, we are going to try something different. We are going to give the CRUSA Modified Sportsman a chance. The CRUSA Modified Sportsman is a class that is growing in our area. We have a handful events left this year and if we can see support and growth to finish the year, we will add them permanently to our 2027 lineup.
