All four Bryan College teams brought fish to the scales and remain within striking distance heading into Championship Day.

🦁 Jake Lovingood & Bryson Hatcher – 8-13 (24th)
🦁 Andrew Terry & Kole Weir – 8-4 (25th) Already qualified for the National Championship
🦁 Tanner Paumen & Logan Allen – 8-3 (28th)
🦁 Tanner Herndon & Mason Taylor – 8-2 (29th)

The entire team is separated by just 11 ounces, proving how tight this event really is. With Terry and Weir already holding a National Championship berth, the goal tomorrow is simple: give ourselves a chance to add more Bryan teams to the field at Leech Lake.

One day left. One more opportunity. Time to leave it all on the water.

🚨 IT’S GO TIME! 🚨

The Bryan College Fishing Team blasted off this morning on the James River for the final stop of the 2026 Strike King Bassmaster College Series seasonβ€”and everything is on the line.

This is the last chance to qualify for the Bassmaster College National Championship at Leech Lake. Months of preparation, long hours on the water, and countless miles traveled have all led to this moment.

The James River is known for testing anglers in every way, but our Lions are ready for the challenge. With National Championship berths up for grabs and the opportunity to compete against the best collegiate anglers in the country, there’s no holding back this week.

Join us in cheering on our teams as they chase their dreams and represent Bryan College with excellence, determination, and faith. It’s time to trust the work, fish free, and leave it all on the water.

🎣 Go Lions!

Tonight we recognized a few who truly stood out β€” and what makes it even more meaningful is these awards were voted on by the team.

The Grinder Award went to Logan Allen β€” for the guy who shows up, puts in the work, and never lets off the gas.

Mr. Freshman was awarded to Andrew Terry β€” for the growth he’s shown mentally, spiritually, and on the water this season.

And the Bryan Fishing Standard Award went to Bryson Hatcher β€” for representing exactly what this program is all about and setting the bar for everyone around him.

Proud of this team. The future is bright!
