The Bolivar Arena Association tournament is approaching. Get your registration into The Ranch Wallis Smith Community Golf Course today.
You do NOT have to be a pro to play in a golf tournament!!! You just need to
1. Enjoy golf or want to learn to play golf.
2. Enjoy meeting new people.
3. Want to support The Bolivar Arena Association

We blind draw for teams. This means every team will have an A (good golfer) B (an ok golfer) etc aC. & D player...all levels of golfers are needed to make a team.
Come out & support The Bolivar Arena Association.
Food is provided at Margaritaville Friday night. Even if you aren't going to play golf, come out to the Calcutta Friday at 7pm & bid on one of their auction items, make a donation, visit & enjoy some good food.

The golf tournament being put on by The Bolivar Arena Association is quickly approaching!! The tournament presenting sponsor is none other than Jackrabbit Harris, our local rodeo clown.
It's going to be 2 days packed full of golf, food , b**r & fun, all the while supporting the building of a new arena here on the Bolivar Peninsula.
Frontier Pest Control is sponsoring a hole in one for $25,000. The calcutta is being held on the 3rd floor of Margaritaville, with food & a cash bar on Friday night at 7pm. Registration ends on Friday night at 6pm. You can register at The Ranch Wallis Smith Community Golf Course or by getting with 1 of the board members of the Arena association. ( Stevi Harris or Jeff Thompson ).
It's looks like its lined up to be a good time!!
It will be random draw teams in a scramble. As I always say, EVERYONE is good enough to play in a tournament. The random draw needs good golfers for 1 bucket & new/not go good golfers in another bucket to make the teams fair. If your not golfing come out Friday night & support them with donations, the auctions etc. So EVERYONE come out & support The Bolivar Arena Association.

Today, June 13th, is the 28th birthday of The Ranch Wallis Smith Community Golf Course !!!
Thank you to the late Wallis Smith for bringing the golf course to Crystal Beach & the Bolivar Peninsula.
To be honest, I didn't realize that till I was looking at this beautiful plaque his daughter Mary shipped to me a few months back.
If you haven't been out to The Ranch, come visit us. We are open 7 days a week 8AM- DUSK. $25 for 18 holes with a cart, no membership required.

Our 5th Annual Dabney Harrison Memorial Golf Tournamemt was held this past weekend! If I may say so myself, it was not only a success, fun was had by all.

I would like to also thank Jose & Kory at Jose's Cantina for hosting our Calcutta, on Friday night..
