Meet the Thomas brothers!

Five years ago today, they took their very first Mini Martial Arts lesson, and they haven’t slowed down since.

Martial arts isn’t about perfection. It’s about determination, perseverance and continuing to show up. We are incredibly proud of how far these boys have come, and we can’t wait to see where the next five years take them!

Most people see the beautiful school we have today, but few remember what it looked like after Hurricane Sally or how much work it took to rebuild.

We’ve called this building home since 2004, and it has been a long journey filled with challenges, changes and countless hours of hard work. What you see today didn’t happen overnight. It was built back piece by piece by people who believed in our school.

This transformation is more than a renovation. It is part of our story and a reminder of just how far we’ve come.

Yesterday, we celebrated the staff, instructors and coaches who lead our classes and work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our school running. Today, we’re celebrating the students and families who make Gordon Martial Arts feel like home.

Some friendships begin on the mats. Others begin while waiting for a sibling’s class to finish. Either way, the time spent here brings students, siblings and families together, forming friendships that extend well beyond our school.

Martial arts may bring families through our doors, but it’s the relationships formed along the way that create our community.
