🇺🇸 Your life becomes a reflection of what you feed your mind every single day. If you choose anger every day, eventually your whole life starts becoming filled with anger. If you constantly tell yourself you’ll never have enough, never succeed, or never get ahead, you start creating that reality for yourself through your mindset, your actions, and the way you carry yourself.

If you wake up every day hating your job, hating your situation, or believing you have no control over your life, eventually that becomes the foundation you live on. The same thing happens when you lose your purpose or lose your anchor. You slowly drift into negativity without even realizing it.

But the opposite is true too. When you start being grateful for the little things, you start finding more peace, more happiness, and more fulfillment in life. When you stop obsessing over everything you don’t have and start appreciating what you do have, your perspective changes, and your life changes with it.

Everybody is going to suffer. Everybody is going to experience loss, heartbreak, disappointment, setbacks, and things they never expected. That’s life. Nobody escapes it. But what separates people is how they respond to it.

You can either focus on everything bad around you, consume negativity nonstop, and ignore the good that still exists, or you can choose growth, resilience, gratitude, and purpose. The way you handle adversity and control your emotions will determine whether you continue creating more negativity in your life or start building something better.

And today especially, on Memorial Day, it’s important to remember that the opportunities we have, the freedoms we have, and the ability to chase our goals and build a life for ourselves came from people who sacrificed everything before us. Men and women gave their lives so we could have the chance to live ours freely.

The best way we can honor that sacrifice is not by wasting the life we’ve been given. It’s by being grateful. It’s by becoming better. Loving harder. Working harder. Appreciating more. Being present. Chasing purpose. Manifesting the good in our lives while we still have the opportunity to do so, because many others no longer do.

Life will never be perfect, but your mindset will shape the way you experience it. Feed your mind with gratitude, discipline, perspective, and purpose, and eventually your life will start reflecting those things back to you. 🇺🇸🫡

Now it’s just part of the routine.

“AIN’T NOTHING BUT A PEANUT 🗣️”

Most of the time when I’m coaching, I’m not just thinking about how you look right now.

I’m thinking about your future.

If you have kids, or plan to someday, being physically and mentally fit long term matters more than you realize. This isn’t something you can build overnight. If you wait too long, you might miss out on the years when your kids want to be active, go outside, play, travel, and experience life with you.

Being more fit can literally equal more time, and better time, with your children.

I also think a lot about recovery. Life happens. Surgeries happen. Injuries happen. Health issues happen. When your body is strong and conditioned, your recovery process is drastically better. Hospital stays, rehab, and bounce back time are all improved when you’ve taken care of your body beforehand.

And this goes way beyond just how you look.

Your cardiovascular system, your organs, your mental health, all benefit from being physically fit.

There’s also the long-term side of things. Many chronic diseases are heavily influenced by lifestyle. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, regular physical activity helps reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, several cancers, and can improve overall mental health and quality of life.

A large percentage of chronic illness risk can be reduced just by taking care of your health consistently.

That’s the reality.

You’re not just working out for today’s results.
You’re investing in your ability to live fully, recover faster, stay independent longer, and avoid potentially devastating health issues that could leave you physically or mentally limited.

Take care of your body now, so it can take care of you later.

And if you’ve been thinking about starting, stop waiting.

Surround yourself with people who know what they’re doing and actually care about your long-term success.

At Freedom Fitness, we have a high-level team of trainers who are here to guide you, push you, and help you build something that lasts.

Don’t wait. Your future self, and your family, will thank you. 🙏🏼

No amount of money replaces this feeling.

Just trying to stay present and thankful. 🙏🏼❤️

Grateful for family traditions, Santa coming, and a good old snowball fight to end the night. Above all, thankful for the gift of family and the blessings God gives us daily. 🎄🤍

I was at the gas station this morning and overheard a lady telling her eight-year-old son to grab her and his brother a Monster energy drink as well. My heart sank.

Energy drinks are packed with caffeine, sugar, and stimulants that children’s developing bodies simply can’t handle. Even for adults, they’re not exactly healthy but for kids, they can disrupt sleep, strain the heart, and affect focus and growth.

Kids don’t need a “boost” in a can. They need real fuel water, juice, and nutritious food that actually helps them grow strong.

Let’s do better for our children 🙏🏼
