🎣 Great Day on the Water! 🎣
Finished up an awesome trip with two incredible couples out of Bull Shoals State Park! What a fun group—lots of laughs, plenty of bending rods, and a boatload of beautiful rainbows. We even got lucky enough to net a sweet cutthroat!
To top it all off, we pulled ashore for a fresh shore lunch. I filleted their caught trout right on the spot and served it up with fresh-cooked homemade hush puppies and crispy French fries. 🍟🐟
Moments like these on the river are what it’s all about.

🎣 Trip Report: Action-Packed Morning on the White River!
Action-packed from the very first cast! Will, along with his son and two grandsons, ages 7 and 12, joined us for a beautiful summer morning on the White River, launching our 4-hour trout trip with Joe's Guide Service out of Lakeview, Arkansas. With Chris Curley at the helm as their expert guide, the family was in great hands and ready to hit the water.
With the gear rigged and ready, Chris had them focusing on classic drift fishing and bait techniques to target the trout holding in the river's prime currents and deeper runs. Will and his family stayed hooked up throughout the morning, landing a fantastic mix of both Rainbow Trout and hard-hitting Brown Trout. The White River showed out today, proving exactly why it’s a world-class fishery. The river's consistent flows and perfect structure made for an incredible drift.
