Mambas Fastpitch

Mambas Fastpitch Mambas Fastpitch is a 12uB travel softball team based in Southern Indiana. Mambas Fastpitch is based in Corydon, Indiana. We were formerly known as the Panthers.

We wanted to come up with a name for our team with a deeper meaning, and this brought us to Mambas, which is named after Kobe Bryant's philosophy, Mamba Mentality. The Mamba Mentality is a constant quest to be the best version of yourself. As coaches, we strive to make these athletes the best versions of themselves both on and off the field. These girls showed up and absolutely dominated the field this weekend—going undefeated in 6 games! 💪🥎

They outscored their opponents 31-6 and played some really solid softball. So proud of this team and the way they continue to grow, compete, and support each other.

Success doesn’t happen overnight. We remind our girls that growth comes from the process—learning, improving, pushing through challenges. Wins will come when they trust their work, but the foundation is built long before game day.

Game nights hit a little different when you’re playing your friends. 🥎

There’s something special (and a little tough) about lining up across from your teammates—friends one minute, competitors the next. It was a pitcher vs pitcher duel with Khloe and Mia.

These are the nights that make this game so great. They were cheering each other on across the field, making plays and getting each other out and hitting bombs off each other… and when the games ended, the first thing they did was run to each other.

Softball is about more than just softball. These friendships and the sportsmanship they showed will last these girls a lifetime. 🧡🐍

We couldn’t be more proud of these girls today. They played some incredible ball — honestly, some of the best we’ve ever seen from this team.

They battled all the way to the end, falling in their final game of the day by just one run to the #1 12uB team in Kentucky. After being down 5–1 in the 6th inning, they fought back to tie it up and force extra innings under international tiebreaker rules. That kind of grit says everything about who they are as a team.

Every single player stepped up in big ways today. Our pitching and catching staff held strong, outfield was catching pop flies all over, bunts were top notch and we had clutch hits exactly when we needed them.

This team never quit. 💪🥎 We hit the field again at 9am tomorrow.

2-0 in pool play today and we are the number 2 seed heading into bracket games at 4:30. Let’s go Mambas!
