📣 Cheer Update - Monday, October 14 📣

Today, October 14th, we are practicing INSIDE!
Practice will be from 6:00 to 7:00 in the junior high gym.
➡️ Enter through Door 13 and the gym will be the first one on your right.

This is our last practice before we cheer at Lucas Oil Stadium! 🏈💙
We don’t know about you, but we’re so excited for our girls to shine on the sidelines of the Colts’ home field - how cool is that?! 🤩

If you’re going to Indianapolis and haven’t let Cory know yet, please do so ASAP for planning purposes. The high school cheer coaches will not be in Indianapolis this weekend, so we are organizing based on who’s attending and which parents are coming.

📅 Sunday Game Info:
Many have asked what time to arrive - plan to be there one hour before the game.
The first game starts at 3:20 p.m., so please check in with Cory by 2:20.
(We’ll update everyone if we receive more specific details.)

📸 Pictures:
As soon as pictures are received, they’ll be distributed. Please remember, area schools have been on fall break.
Photos will only be given to parents who paid. If your daughter’s photo was taken and you still want to order, you can - and you will receive all her individual photos plus the team composite.

✨ Picture Day is Tonight at 6:00 p.m. ✨

Youth cheerleading pictures are TONIGHT in the main gym (high school gym). Please enter on the backside of the building through Door 13.

📸 Important Notes:
• At least 21 girls must order to secure the $10 discount (we have 22 signed up—let’s make it happen!).
• If fewer than 21 order, there will be an additional $10 fee.
• We strongly encourage pre-payment via Venmo: https://venmo.com/u/Ellie_Kornexl
• Once paid, please screenshot your confirmation and send it to Cory via text (812-267-3022) or Messenger on the CC Youth Cheerleading page so you can be marked before arrival.

👕 What to Wear for Pictures:
• Cheer shirt
• Black shorts
• White socks
• Tennis shoes
• Black & gold bow (must be worn — hair does not need to be fully up for pictures, but the bow must be in).

⏱ Be on time!
All girls must arrive dressed and ready by 6:00 P.M. so the process runs smoothly.

We still need 3 parent volunteers tonight:
1. One to check in girls & confirm payments
2. One to assist the photographer with positioning/props
3. One extra set of hands to keep things moving

📣 Game Day Excitement – Sunday, September 28th! 🖤💛

Tomorrow marks the last regular weekend of the season, and we want to finish STRONG! 💪 Our cheerleaders have brought the energy all season, and this Sunday we’re bringing it home on our own turf. 🙌 Every group will cheer for two games:
• Group A – Noon & 1:00
• Group B – 1:00 & 2:10
• Group C – 2:10 & 3:20

Let’s end the season on the HIGHEST note and make those sidelines shake with Panther spirit! 🐾

📸 Cheer Pictures – Tuesday, September 30th Every girl will need to have an individual photo taken on Tuesday – whether you plan to order pictures or not – so that we can create the team composite. Once their photo is taken, they’ll head right into practice as usual.

Ellie Knorexl Photography is offering us an amazing deal:
• $40 per cheerleader if at least 21 of our cheerleaders order (that’s 70% of our roster).
• $50 per cheerleader if fewer than 21 order.
This includes three poses, a team composite, and digital images you can print however you like.

🏟 Indianapolis – Lucas Oil Stadium Opportunity
If your cheerleader is going, please let Cory know ASAP and include how many tickets you purchased. All cheerleaders participating will cheer for both games on the Colts field – we’ll coordinate seating with the organizer once we have final numbers. Tickets must be purchased for the first session (3rd/4th grade game) to ensure you have seats for both games.

📣 Youth Night! 🖤💛

Tomorrow, Friday, September 19th, is Youth Night at the high school football game!

All youth cheerleaders and tackle football players will be recognized before kickoff. Gates open at 5:45 P.M., and athletes will be announced at 6:30 P.M. There’s no fee for athletes - admission for others is $6.00.

Please plan for early arrival - the stands and parking lots will be packed with both cheer and football families.

✨ Special Theme: It is a Purple Out in honor of Mrs. Beth Boman, a beloved teacher at CES and CCHS who touched so many lives. 💜 Please join us in honoring her legacy by wearing purple.

• Group A will cheer at Corydon for the 1st & 2nd grade game at Noon.
• Group B and Group C will cheer at Salem High School:
• Group B at 1:00 & 2:10 P.M.
• Group C at 3:20 & 4:30 P.M.

👉 While each group is assigned certain games, cheerleaders are always welcome to join in earlier or stay later to support more teams.

A parent volunteer is needed at Salem for each age group to call out cheers and help the girls stay on track. (No pun intended! 🤭)

📣 Game Day – Youth Cheerleaders! 🖤💛

Tomorrow, the 7th, is GAME DAY and our youth cheerleaders will be out supporting the Panthers as our youth tackle football teams take the field on home turf! 🏈 After a BIG week of wins - with our junior high team bringing home the Little Cat Classic trophy 🏆 and our high school team bringing home the Big Cat Classic trophy 🏆 - it is time to keep the rolling right here at home! 🐾

📍 Location & Parking
• All athletes, parents, and fans must enter through the east entrance (Corydon Elementary School side).
• Concessions will be available. 🌭🍿🥤

💵 Admission
• $3.00 admission for 1st grade and up
• Players and kindergarten & under are free

The forecast is calling for a beautiful fall day - sunny and 72°! 🍂 Perfect football and cheer weather!

Even though it will not be as hot as it has been, we still recommend that each cheerleader brings at least 2 bottles of water to stay hydrated throughout the day. 💧
