One of the most beautiful things about dance is the friendships that come from it. At BOOM, these dancers don’t just share a stage, they share countless hours in the studio, backstage moments, road trips, laughs, tears, celebrations, and memories that turn teammates into lifelong friends.

There is something so special about watching these friendships grow year after year. They challenge each other, support each other, celebrate each other, and make even the hardest days a little easier. And whether they’re dancing side by side or just being there for one another, these friendships are a HUGE part of what makes BOOM so special.

Some of the BEST parts of dance aren’t always the moments on stage. They’re the memories we make between the dances, getting ready together, laughing until we can’t breathe, taking a million pictures, celebrating every little victory, and making memories that we’ll talk about for years to come.

At BOOM, we don’t just create amazing dancers… we create moments that become lifelong memories. From the littlest dancers to our oldest, every season brings new experiences, new friendships, and SO many unforgettable moments. And looking back at these pictures reminds us just how quickly it all goes by.

These kids grow up together, cheer each other on, make memories together, and create friendships that go far beyond the studio.

What makes BOOM so special is that every dancer has a place here. #10 — TEAMWORK

At BOOM, teamwork isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something you can see in every routine, every rehearsal, and every moment we spend together. We push each other, encourage each other, celebrate each other, and most importantly, we show up for each other. When one person shines, we all shine. When one person needs a little extra support, we’re there. That’s what makes this team so special.

There’s something different about a team that truly believes in one another, and this is THAT team. We work harder together, dream bigger together, and make each other better every single day. I truly believe there is no better team to take on this season with. BOOM isn’t just the best because of what we do on the floor, it’s the people beside us that make it the BEST. 🤍

🪩 Round 5! 🪩

Somewhere along the way, I realized one of life’s greatest gifts is waking up and genuinely loving the life you’ve built.

Not because it’s perfect, but because it’s yours, and because of all the incredible people who make it what it is.

And wow… what a life this is.

A studio filled with music, little voices, big personalities, crazy schedules, late nights, early mornings, costumes everywhere, endless caffeine, dance parents who deserve actual medals, and dancers who continue to amaze me every single day.

I get to do something I genuinely love for a living.

I get to watch kids become confident, brave, talented humans. I get to create memories with families that will last far beyond a dance season. And I get to build something that is so much bigger than a business.

That feeling is priceless.

The older I get, the more I appreciate the simple things: the laughter, the friendships, the celebrations, the little moments, and being surrounded by people who make life more fun.

So this is our year. ROUND 5! Our biggest year yet!

We’re going to keep dancing. Keep laughing. Keep celebrating. Keep throwing parties. Keep collecting those insane awards.  Keep making memories. And, of course, keep creating a little harmless chaos along the way.

Because life is meant to be enjoyed, and we refuse to be fun sponges.

We work hard, we love hard, we celebrate hard, and we know how to have an absolutely ridiculous amount of fun doing it.

And to anyone keeping an eye on us…

We believe in teaching this art form with respect to its roots and the culture that created it, rather than watering it down or westernizing it simply because we’re teaching it in small town Cortland County.

Our goal isn’t to make Hip Hop look like something it isn’t.

Our goal is to teach it, respect it, celebrate it, and keep it relevant.

And honestly… if we were that worried about whether our Hip Hop was “too much,” we probably wouldn’t have SO MANY AWARD WINNING HIP HOP NUMBERS.
