Tennis Success Inc. was founded in 2000 with the intention of preventing youth in our community from becoming drawn into a life of violence, gangs, alcohol/drug use, and dropping out of school. Tennis attracts youth to participate in something healthy and productive while teaching them the importance of discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and character. We have a responsibility to teach our children how to be healthy for life and to seize upon opportunities that take them on a pathway out of poverty and despair. Tennis Success offers a wide range of services to children and youth living in Corpus Christi who are at risk of being drawn into a life of delinquency and poverty. These services include tennis lessons, tennis tournaments, after-school tutoring, nutrition education, character education, life skills training, summer programs, and college scholarships. Our services are available FREE OF CHARGE to young people who come from low-income families, particularly if they are eligible for the free or reduced school meals program, Medicaid/CHIP, and various public assistance. We currently serve students from the following schools:

🎾☀️ Week 2 of Tennis Success Summer Camp is in the books, and what a week it was!

From learning new tennis skills and competing on the courts to building friendships and making memories, our campers brought incredible energy and enthusiasm every day. We are so proud of the hard work, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes shown by all of our participants.

As we head into Week 3, the forecast is calling for rain, but we’re ready for whatever Mother Nature sends our way! Whether we’re on the courts or making the most of our indoor activities, the fun, learning, and growth will continue.

Thank you to our campers, families, staff, and volunteers for making another amazing week possible. Here’s to another great week of tennis, education, and adventure!

Week 1 of Tennis Success Summer Camp is in the books! 🎾☀️

The rain may have tried to slow us down, but it couldn’t stop the fun, learning, and energy on the courts. From adapting to the weather to making the most of every opportunity, our campers showed great attitudes and resilience all week long.

We’re grateful for an amazing first week and can’t wait to see what adventures, memories, and successes Week 2 will bring. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💪🎾

Today, we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their bravery, sacrifice, and commitment will always be remembered.

Please note that while the tennis and pickleball courts and pro shop are open today, the Tennis Success program and office will be closed in observance of the holiday.

What an incredible evening at our College Tennis Workshop! 🎾

A huge thank you to Neil Adams for sharing so much valuable knowledge, experience, and insight with our players and families. From understanding the college recruiting process to learning how to communicate with coaches and find the right program fit, our athletes walked away with information that can truly help shape their future.

We loved seeing our players and parents engaged, asking questions, and taking the next steps toward their goals both on and off the court. Opportunities like this are so important, and we are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the workshop a success.

The future is bright for our student-athletes! 💙🎾

🎾 Dreaming of playing college tennis? Let’s make a plan to get you there.

Join us this Wednesday, May 13 at 5:30 PM for our College Tennis Workshop led by Neil Adams — a former Division I player, former Head Men’s Tennis Coach at the University of Illinois, and an 18-time National Team Coach for USTA Texas.

This workshop is designed for high school tennis players who want to learn how to take the next step in their tennis journey. The workshop is free and open to the public!

He will cover:
✔️ How to open doors to college tennis
✔️ Choosing the right school and program fit
✔️ How to properly communicate with college coaches
✔️ Step-by-step guidance through the recruiting process

Please RSVP by calling the Tennis Success Community Courts and Center at (361) 666-5381 or text (361) 423-0201 so we can prepare enough materials for everyone attending. When messaging, please include your name and the names of any other high school players coming with you.
