Brian Arriaga began playing tennis at the age of seven at H-E-B Tennis Center in Ronald's program, where his passion for the game quickly grew into a lifelong pursuit. He enjoyed a successful junior career competing in USTA and school tennis at Baker High School, Moody High School, Temple Junior College, and Sul Ross State University.
After completing his college career, Brian turned his focus toward coaching and has spent the years since developing players of all ages and skill levels. During his time with Cliff Drysdale Tennis, he gained extensive experience coaching players ranging from beginners to advanced competitors, while also working with league players and junior athletes.
Brian especially enjoys helping junior players develop their skills and watching their games evolve over time. He also takes great pride in helping adult players stay motivated, improve their consistency, and continue progressing toward their tennis goals.
With 20 years of playing experience and a USTA rating of 4.5, Brian brings a player's perspective to his coaching. His coaching philosophy centers around player development, building confidence, and helping each athlete reach their individual potential.
Throughout his career, Brian has also had the opportunity to work alongside and participate in clinics with accomplished professionals, including Michael Chang and Petra Kvitova. He has also coached at the Mauna Lani Tennis Center in Hawaii, adding to his diverse experience in the tennis industry.
Above all, Brian has a genuine passion for the game and for helping players become better, more confident versions of themselves on the court. He looks forward to sharing his knowledge, experience, and love of tennis with every player he works with.
