FIRST NEW STUDENT TRYOUT OF 2026 ✅

Today we kicked off 2026 the right way with our first new student tryout of the year — a six-hour evaluation built to show exactly what it takes to become a professional wrestler.

These hungry, driven athletes didn’t get a watered-down experience. They went through the same in-ring training and promo drills that our full-time students grind through week in and week out. No shortcuts. No smoke and mirrors. Just real coaching and real expectations.

To close it out, we held a full Q&A session where potential students had the opportunity to ask Mike Hollow and Scott Reed anything on their mind — about training, mindset, opportunity, and what it truly takes to succeed in this industry.

These student tryouts are incredibly important to us. They allow us to deliver a true, honest student experience and clearly show what the road to success in professional wrestling actually looks like. The #1 Designated Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center, along with coaches Mike Hollow and Scott Reed, would like to extend a massive congratulations to Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes, and Brad Baylor on their incredible accomplishment of moving up to NXT.

Each of these athletes has put in the work, made the sacrifices, and earned this next step through discipline, consistency, and an unrelenting belief in themselves. We’ve had the privilege of working with all three in different capacities and watching them reach this level is exactly why we do what we do.

We want to take a moment to spotlight Brad Baylor and the journey that led him here.

Prior to signing his WWE ID contract, Brad was making the commitment that champions make—traveling 8 hours round trip every single Sunday to train at EPWTC. No excuses. No shortcuts. Just a relentless focus on mastering the key elements needed to reach the next level. That dedication, combined with his coachability and work ethic, played a major role in helping him achieve his dream.

Brad said it best himself:

Today’s Female Exclusive Class was an absolute success.
So proud of every single athlete who stepped in that ring.

They worked hard. They busted their butts.
They left everything they had between the ropes.

Because of that effort, real progress was made. Bad habits were identified, corrected, and replaced with better fundamentals—and you could see the difference immediately. That’s how growth happens.
