Our absolute favorite fishing trip of the year is when Captain Brian and Captain Lori get to spend a day on the water supporting the annual CAST for Kids Foundation fishing event at Seven Lakes State Park. No one is looking for limits or chasing that big fish of a lifetime; instead, everyone is simply living their best life with a perfect day on the water 🎣

If you’re thinking about a Michigan Bear or Elk tag, you only have a few days left to apply.

Bear and elk application windows close next week! Even if you don't plan to hunt this year, you can choose to increase your odds for NEXT year. And if you aren't a hunter, let your hunting friends and family know not miss out.

Application can be done online through our website, the Michigan DNR Hunt Fish app or by visiting any license retailer.

The deadline to apply is June 1, 2026. Good luck!
