When the owner of StarQuest comes looking for the owner of ๐๐ซ๐ฏ, you know youโve done something right.
After our ๐๐ข๐ช๐๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฅ performance started the show in the Quest for the Best, Steve Wappel shared some incredibly kind words. He told us he had always dreamed of an opening number being as impactful as ours. He appreciated the 30 plus dancers age 7-18 not only performing together but EXECUTING! The cleanliness, the energy, the set, the changing of shoes, total package! Hearing that from someone who has seen countless performances over the many years in successful business was something we will never forget.
This routine was special to our dancers and our studio from the very beginning. Whether it won or not, we knew we had created something incredibly entertaining, well choreographed, well staged, well costumed, difficult, clean, energetic, everything and more. Over the course of five competitions, this number became the one that made people stop in their tracks, run into the venue to watch, and cheer as if they were cheering for their own studio. We will forever remember those moments.
Thank you again, Steve, I think weโll definitely keep making the kool-aid!
