In the Pool
What’s your favorite event to compete in — and why? My favorite event is the 50 fly. I don't really know why. I just think that is a really fun event.
What meet or race are you most proud of? One meet, I had a really good 50 fly in prelims and I don't normally swim great at finals, but I said I wanted to come back for finals because I wanted to go a certain time. I was so excited to swim that race. I got up and felt great and I hit the wall and I had actually gone the time I wanted to go. My mom was so surprised because she didn't think I was going to do it since it was finals. It was that day that that race became my favorite race.

Senior Legacy
What advice do you want to leave for younger swimmers? Just be you and don't worry about the times. It just matters that you have fun and make the best of it. Do you show up every day and enjoy yourself with your friends and teammates? Do you feel good working hard? If so, then the times aren't important. The journey is.
Who do you want to thank for supporting you through your swim journey? My mom, who has been there every step of the way, from the day I first learned to swim till now. My dad, who is always one of the loudest to cheer for me, even when he's busy announcing on the mic. And my sisters who motivate me to do better every day.
