~Our Aerial Arts Story ~

Since 2020, our Aerial Arts program has been soaring under the vision and leadership of founder and director Courtney McCutcheon, one of our area’s most accomplished aerialists and performers. Alongside Assistant Director Sarah Anthony, these two amazing aerial educators bring a wealth of experience of aerial arts and instruction to their students and our area in so many aspects.

What began as a small studio class offering has grown into a thriving program led by a dedicated faculty of instructors and assistants, all working performers who bring real stage experience into every class.
That training shows now on stage. Our annual shows are fully professional productions featuring real aerialists, taught by real performers. We have outgrown performing in our studio home and to now selling 600-seats at our new venue , selling out each of the past two years. Our students are now performing at local events and now competing in the southeast. We have classes for beginners thru advanced levels and even an Adult program. Our program consists of many different aerial apparatuses such as silks, hammocks, Lyra, and trapeze.

With over two decades of artistry, training, and performance behind us, we are proud to be the area’s premier aerial studio, offering a program that simply cannot be matched or duplicated.

Come check out Performance Aerial Arts at Performance and experience the world of flying!
We’d love to have you!
