Our first national event of the season has come to a close. While the results weren’t what we had hoped for, that’s the reality of racing sometimes.

From the start, this trip felt like an uphill battle for our team and unfortunately the on-track results reflected it. Braeden and Mason each secured one A-Main starting spot, but overall we know we’re capable of much more than what we showed this weekend. The emotion showed.

We’ll take what we’ve learned, regroup and get back to work. Next weekend we’ll be supporting our home club before heading to Indiana for Round 2 of the NASCAR Youth Nationals.

Yesterday didn’t quite go the way we had hoped, but we were able to add one more car to today’s A-Mains and will be the alternate in another class.

Today’s starting spots:

🟢 Jr. Honda — Starting 10th
🟢 Sr. Honda — Starting 4th
🟢 Jr. Animal — X

We’ve got some work to do, but the opportunity is there. Time to go chase those checkers! 🏁

Day 1 was full of highs and lows as qualifying brought a mix of emotions for the team. Despite all the hard work and hustle, we were only able to lock 1 of our 6 cars directly into Sunday’s A-Mains.

The good news? We still have plenty of opportunities ahead. Racing resumes today at 9:00 AM as we roll off for the lower mains and look to race our way to lock 5 more cars into starting spots. 🏁

After many months of traveling up and down the road, it felt great to finally race at our new home track on Sunday Susquehanna Quarter Midget Association (SQMA). Having a short drive, seeing familiar faces in the stands and being able to share the day with family and friends made the day even more special.

The team unloaded six cars and put together one of our strongest performances yet!

🏆 Mason Zellers had an incredible day, sweeping all three of his divisions:
🥇 Junior Honda
🥇 Junior 160
🥇 Junior Animal

This marks Mason's first-ever sweep 🧹, a huge accomplishment and a testament to all of the hard work he has put in both on and off the track.

🔥 Braeden Zellers was equally impressive, showing tremendous speed and consistency throughout the day:
🥇 Senior Honda
🥈 Senior Animal
🥈 Light World Formula

Braeden battled hard in every feature and came up just inches short of multiple wins, proving he has the speed and drive to compete with anyone.

Overall, six cars, six podium finishes and a day that reminded us why we love this sport.

We'll take a few days to regroup, get everything ready, and then it's back on the road Thursday for our first NASCAR Youth Series Nationals of the season.
