🏀🤼 WINTER SPORTS UPDATE! 🤼🏀

It was good to see so many new faces last night at Trunk or Treat! And, of course, it was great to see many of our athletes who have been part of CBAA for the past few years.

We’re excited to continue promoting our CBAA Winter Sports and getting the season underway!

📅 Registration closes November 8th
🏀 Practice dates are dependent on coaches so look for emails / texts soon!

🏀 Junior Boys Basketball

A reminder that we have an open practice/tryout TONIGHT from 7–8 PM at the Armory for 5th & 6th grade boys.

This practice will help our coaches determine skill levels and form teams for the upcoming season.

Please continue watching your email for updates from our commissioners and coaches. Once the season officially begins, athletes must be registered before attending any official practices.

🤼 Wrestling

We are currently looking at holding the first two weeks of wrestling practices at the Armory the week of Nov 9th, followed by practices at the high school for the remainder of the season.

Our wrestling commissioner, Jen, will be reaching out with more details once registration closes on November 8th.

Thank you for your patience as we finalize schedules and details. We’re excited to get our winter athletes on the mat and on the court!

Registration doesn’t close until November 8th, but our Jr. Boys coaches are hoping to see who all is interested/registered and their skill level.

REMINDERS!

We’re down to the last week of our FREE basketball clinics/practices! Don’t forget to come out and get some extra time on the court.

📍 Armory – 221 Walnut St., Columbia
Wednesday October 28th
🏀 Girls 3rd–6th Grade: 6:00–7:00 PM
🏀 Boys 3rd–6th Grade: 7:00–8:00 PM

No preregistration is needed for the clinics — just come ready to play! A parent/adult must sign in.

Basketball & wrestling league registration is OPEN NOW, but registration CLOSES NOVEMBER 8! Please make sure your athlete is registered by the deadline so we know how many teams we’ll have and can get uniforms and league scheduling underway.

Did you see all of CBAA’s fall sports teams representing at the parade?! ❤️💛

Good luck to our D & B football teams tomorrow as they play their final games of the season, and good luck to our Cheer B Team at their first cheer competition this year! 📣🏈

🏈 Games start at 1 PM Sunday Oct 25th at Glatfelter Memorial Field.

A huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered, coached, supported, and helped make this season possible. We are so grateful for everyone who continues to pour into our kids and our programs.

We hope to continue building, supporting, and improving these programs for our CBAA athletes!

🤼 Thank you to our wrestling coaches and everyone who volunteered at our free wrestling clinic! We heard it was a great turnout, and we hope parents had the opportunity to ask questions about the league while the kids learned new skills, had fun, and enjoyed some time on the mat!

As a reminder, winter sports league registration closes November 8th! Basketball and wrestling league registration is active on our website.

We’re also grateful for our new Basketball Commissioner, Nate Smith! While he may be new to the commissioner role, he’s certainly not a new face to CBAA. Nate has been actively involved in our organization and continues to step up to help provide opportunities for our kids. We’re excited to have him leading basketball!

Basketball Registration closes Nov 1st so please register if you’d like your kiddo to be part of this league. Come to the clinic tonight to ask Nate and the other coaches more questions if you need!
