Today, I’ve been reflecting on what Missouri Legends AAU truly represents.

Yes, we compete. Yes, we travel. Yes, we work to help our athletes earn opportunities at the next level. But our impact reaches far beyond the scoreboard.

Every practice, every tournament, and every conversation is an opportunity to mentor young people, build confidence, teach accountability, and help shape future leaders. We believe basketball is a vehicle to develop character, discipline, and lifelong relationships.

Our mission has always been simple: Develop Players. Build Leaders. Create Opportunities. We want every athlete who wears a Missouri Legends jersey to leave our program as a better player, a better student, and an even better person.

None of this happens without dedicated coaches, supportive families, community partners, and the countless people who believe in what we’re building. Thank you for trusting us to invest in the next generation.

The future is bright, and we’re just getting started.

Our combined 16U and 17U squad came up just short today, falling 36 to 31 against a very good TNT 17U team.

While the result wasn’t what we wanted, we’re incredibly proud of the effort, toughness, and growth this group showed all season long. Thank you to every player for your commitment and to our families for your unwavering support throughout the year.

The future is bright. We’ll be back. 💪🏀
