Shoutout to Gustafson Graphics and his sweet little helper (who didn’t want to be pictured 👧) for our window signage! He made the sign look great even when dealing with a too-hot window and all the pressure of being bombarded at once with the ribbon cutting and open house. We have worked with Andrew in the past and we appreciate how prompt, caring, and detail oriented he is, especially with his busy schedule. Thank you so much for your help under all the pressure and thank you for being there with us on our big opening day! 🤗🥳🎉

Shoutout to Floors 4 Iowa LLC for an amazing job on the carpet! These guys jumped through hoops to get flooring in as quickly as they could and squeezed us in for an install with an already tight schedule. It almost matches the rubber mats and it looks so good! Thank you guys so much! 🤩

We are fully open!

The door access is turned back on and we have carpet up front now! We have audio installed in the cardio room (we will finish it in the weight room over the weekend). If you haven’t already, download the Kisi app for door access, turn on Bluetooth and location services, and hold your phone in front of the door pad to let yourself in!

We are taking the whole day off tomorrow, but will be back and post hours that we’re available for Thursday and Friday. Stop on in and smash your first workout! 🏋️

We have contractors here working on the carpet for the next few hours, so we will have to turn the door access off until the front door area is complete -  we don’t want anyone stepping on the glue!

Thank you to the huge turnout for the ribbon cutting and the open house!!

The family is exhausted from all the work we have put in over the past couple weeks so we are going to spend a couple hours at home before we head back to finish up the audio and cleanup from earlier. I know we have had a few people send us questions that we haven’t gotten to yet, but don’t worry, you will hear from us soon! ❤️

It has been a very busy couple days!
⭐️ We got a bigger TV for the Fitness On Demand station and swapped it out
⭐️ Put grommets in all the yoga mats for easier storage
⭐️ Put the rest of the TVs up (the seated elliptical has the best seat in the house 😉)
⭐️ a good friend trekked all the way from northeastern Iowa to help put all the bathroom fixtures up and they look perfect 🤩
⭐️ we are unloaded, cleaned, and organized all the dumbbells and weight plates
⭐️ we assembled the deadlift platform 🏋️‍♀️
⭐️ we put on 6 sets of weight stacks and reattached the belts, cables, and ropes 🥵

We can’t wait to see everyone at the open house tomorrow! While the space is about 80% complete, it will be completely useable by tomorrow evening.
Our plan for tomorrow is to really clean up the space, mop the floors, get rid of the plywood, put up temporary window signage, and move around a few last-minute things. We are waiting to do anything with the storefront area until we get the carpet in on Tuesday morning.

Besides the storefront, our other due-outs for the space include an upright bike and a recumbent bike to be picked up within the next two weeks, installing the audio system over the next few days, and waiting on Mediacom Communications Corp. any day now to come install Internet since Tim and the crew with Dickerson Mechanical made super fast work of the conduit setup - these guys have been so great throughout the process of the whole buildout. We won’t have guest Wi-Fi until mediacom comes in, so in the meantime we are operating off of our own Wi-Fi just to power all of our systems.

For those that are taking advantage of the presale, tomorrow evening will be a great time to test out your door access (we will make it live at 6:30pm). For everyone else eager to see the space, stop in and visit with us between 4 and 6 P.M.! Both of the owners will be present, and at least one of our personal trainers/group fitness instructors. We will have a cooler full of drinks, and snacks provided by Absolute Nutrition available for all our guests 🥰 See you all soon!
