If you are considering participating in our upcoming The Break Ground Fitness Challenge, here are five compelling reasons to register:

1. February is the Ideal Time for Engagement: As winter persists, it’s a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in productive and goal-oriented activities. Let’s channel our energy into creative culinary endeavors, strengthen our fitness for summer, achieve personal milestones such as your first pull-up or a two-minute 25-calorie bike sprint, or pursue any physical goals you have set. Connect with fellow participants who share similar aspirations and support one another in this journey.

2. Personal Focus Over Competition: This challenge emphasizes personal development rather than competition. We understand that some participants have previously felt deterred by competitive elements; this challenge allows you to focus solely on your own goals. It is designed to be the most personalized experience we have offered to date.

3. Opportunities for Learning and Growth: Participating in a challenge presents a unique opportunity for both personal and professional growth. As adults, structured learning environments can be rare. In my experience with previous challenges, I have consistently learned valuable tips and strategies from Bryan and our community members. I am confident that this challenge will offer unprecedented learning opportunities.

4. Exceptional Value: This challenge offers an incredible array of benefits. Participants will receive unlimited access to the InBody machine, specialized challenge classes every Saturday at 7 AM, two personalized sessions with Bryan, comprehensive composition analyses with detailed metrics and tailored assignments to help you reach your chosen goals, and continuous support from both us and fellow challengers. The total value of these offerings is nearly $500, yet we are providing this for only $150. Additionally, you can choose to pay the fee in full or in three incremental payments of $50 as an add-on to your membership.

5. Invest in Your Community: Bryan and I have ambitious plans for New Break Ground Fitness, but we require sufficient funding to bring these initiatives to fruition. Your participation in the Break Ground Fitness Challenge serves as a direct investment in your gym, and we assure you that this investment will yield significant returns.

To ensure the success of this challenge, we need at least 30 participants. We invite you to join us for this remarkable experience, with the challenge commencing on February 15. Sign up today to embark on this transformative journey!

And last but certainly not least, the one you’ve all been waiting for, the 2025 Transformation - an Athlete(s) who showed up, followed the plan, and reaped the rewards

No surprise here! The 2025 Transformation goes to Alisha Gilman! So proud of her and she is so deserving! Alisha worked hard this year and it shows across the board ... and across her back! She’s set new personal records in lifts and in body composition and recently got her first muscle up. It’s hard not to notice and many do, but still Alisha is humble and gracious. And that’s why she earns this title with the most votes by far. CONGRATULATIONS!

Bryan and Erin’s pick - Erica Degre! The winner of the Get MORE SWOLE challenge has had a tremendous transformation this year and we can’t help but acknowledge her once again. Also, Scott Cote! If he had entered the Get Swole Challenge, he would have won for the men. His transformation is physical, but also mental and we are happy he has rejoined us in 2025.

Thank you for following along for the 2025 Superlatives! GOOD NIGHT!

This one’s a good one!

Most Memorable WOD 2025 - that WOD you loved to hate ... and you left thinking - “Gosh that Bryan Dowd is a genius”

You sick people voted for “Three Queens” - a mixture of Grace, Karen, and Fran with 400 meter runs - that one is tough! Close runner up “Capitivate” - partners complete 30 rounds of 2-4-6 but 5 burpees at the top of every minute - damnnnnn

Bryan and Erin’s pick - 10 - 1 Bench Press mixed with squat cleans or push presses and biking or rowing - much more chill haha!

We’re getting close to the end here, folks!

CFPF Top Fan - an Athlete who spreads their love of CFPG beyond the walls

And the winner is Neil Malloy! Neil has been a staple at CFPG since 2019. Not only is he an avid fan, but an ambassador, and a true friend and supporter to all who enter our door. Neil - you are very deserving of this recognition!

Bryan and Erin’s pick - Emma Teed! Emma shows so much love for CFPG inside and outside our walls. Whether it’s celebrating one of our special events or crushing a bench press PR, she’s proud to share her positive experiences with others. And we’re proud of her!

Next Up - The Newb Award - a member(s) who joined us in 2025 who is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement in their CrossFit journey

And the winner is Austin Jones! When Austin joined us, one of the first things he told us is he is looking to be coached and to improve. We thought that was great he gave us that feedback! Austin takes his craft seriously while integrating seamlessly with our community. Thanks for being part of CFPG!

Bryan and Erin’s picks - this was a hard one for us because so many come to mind! Lynn Goodwin, a staple at 5am and a pleasure to know, Morgan Richards, who wanted to quit but we bullied her to stay and every day she blows us away, and although this person isn’t new in 2025, Steve Abel, because he puts so much effort into the things that don’t come easily, but beats us all on a bike!
