Back pain won’t go away?

Focus on these three things 👇

1️⃣ Thoracic Spine
Perform scapular contractions to engage the thoracic area near your shoulder blades.
Why: Improves stability and posture while taking strain off the neck and upper traps.

2️⃣ Lumbar Spine
Perform a pelvic tilting drill to engage the lower back. You should feel a contraction through your lower back, and then an extension.
Why: Improves spinal mobility, core control, and lower back strength.

3️⃣ Cervical Spine
Perform neck extensions and cervical flexion. Round the back, tuck your head in, and then tilt your head up to work the levator scapula—then tuck the chin in and push the head toward the ground.
Why: Restores control and mobility through the upper spine and neck.

It’s not about how many reps you do—it’s about how tough those last reps feel and how much internal control you have.

Before you start loading heavy through the upper body, make sure your tissues are ready to handle it.

A lot of times we think the shoulder is fully rotating — but really, we’ve just lost access to that range.

The Windmill is an awesome way to explore a full 360° of shoulder motion and prep your tissues for heavier pressing and overhead work.

Deep squats are one of the best ways to open up your hips and build real mobility.

If your back rounds a bit at the bottom — that’s okay. The goal is to get comfortable in the position, not force perfection.

Try adding a weight in front for counterbalance if it helps you sit deeper and stay relaxed.
