This summer Ardent Bicycles is bringing a FREE youth mountain bike race series, Thunder In The Pines, to Tioga Recreation Area designed to help kids build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, and discover the joy of riding trails.

Whether your little ripper rides every day or is just learning, get ‘em out with their! Meet up with friends or make new ones!
These events are where lifelong friendships begin!

🚲 Balance bikes welcome
🚲 Pedal bikes welcome
🚲 Free race plates & finisher medals
🚲 Safe, age-appropriate courses

REGISTRATION and Race Course will go live in the next day or two.

Registration will close the day before each event so that we can be best prepared for the racers!

A HUGE shoutout to Dondelinger Ford - Each racer will receive a number plate that they get to KEEP! And will be expected to bring to each race if they choose to race multiple races.

Broken down as follows
*Sprouts = 3-5yrs old (no training wheels)
- focus on basic coordination through “foot races” or balance bikes
*Cadets = 6-8yrs old
- introduce fundamental racing lines. And sportsmanship
*Junior = 9-12
- develop “race craft” strategy, sportsmanship, positive attitude and hard work
