Now that the snowmobile season is over, I am reposting this for your consideration…. If you have experienced the trails in Itasca County, take a minute or two to fill out this survey.
We need to hear from the snowmobiling public!! It doesn’t take that long and it gives us great feedback about your experiences….. Thanks & have a great summer!!!

Last club meeting of the season tonight….
Cedar Creek Tavern, gather beginning at 4 PM, short business meeting around 4:30, with dinner after on your own if you choose…

Just a quick update on our trail conditions:
We received approx 6” of snow in the past few days. With the weather coming through MN tonight & tomorrow, we are only expecting an inch or so out of this event.
The trails are still open and a few folks are riding. The trails are pretty good.
We haven’t had the groomer out because of the recent warmer weather, some flowage areas just won’t support the weight of the tractor that pulls the drag. Sleds are fine, but not a good time for an ice bath for the groomer.
If you’re out there, be safe and enjoy these last few days of riding.
Cedar Creek is open for food as is the Outpost for fuel. Stop in, they are great supporters.

Due to the warm forecast daily and overnights this week, we won’t be sending out the groomer this week… there are a growing number of bare spots but where we do have snow the trails are holding up well…be safe if you go out…

Groomed the Clearwater on Tuesday & Suomi on Thursday. Warm and a few bare spots, but rideable this weekend as it will be cooler. Be safe.

We groomed the Suomi yesterday & it came out great. Only a couple of sleds over it so the set up should have been really good.
We’re grooming the Clearwater today…. Safe sledding everyone!!!

Forecast is for 38-40 degrees today & tomorrow. Sorry, but it’s just too warm to put the groomer on trails. It does more damage than good with little snow to move around in a lot of areas. Cutting down to dirt only adds to the melting.
Hopefully next week, we’ll get something to work with out there… safe riding if you venture out…

2/4/2026 Groomed the Suomi today. Trail came out really nice…. Will be doing the Clearwater on Friday…Enjoy the weekend

3/30/26 Touched up the trail east from Cedar Creek today. All the rest that we groom are in great shape…. Weekend weather looks great. Safe riding everyone!!!

Finished up the grooming today out to the Taconite & Lowran connection. Probably won’t be much for riders this weekend but it will be ready for those few that do and for next week…
