Sports give us some of our greatest memories — and sometimes, our toughest moments.

Unfortunately for the Clyman Canners, the last two games were the latter. The season came to an end after an unbelievable comeback, climbing out of a 9–0 hole after five innings to force extras before falling to the Kewaskum A's Baseball. Congratulations to the A’s, who have now gotten us at this stage two years in a row.

This season brought a big shift for our team, with a youth movement blending in alongside our core group of experienced veterans. That mix has been the Canners’ recipe for success for nearly four decades. We love seeing the young guys learn from those who’ve been in the game a long time — and we love the energy, enthusiasm, and pure love of baseball the younger players bring.

Maintaining a high level of success at any level is incredibly difficult, but we’re fortunate to have an amazing support system both on and off the field.

Thank you to our players for sacrificing personal time all summer to represent Clyman. We already can’t wait to get back at it in the spring.

Thank you to our behind‑the‑scenes crew who make sure the field is ready, the beer is cold, and the players have everything they need to uphold the standard of excellence. Lehmo, Neal, Fitz and our Clyman Diamond Club Board — none of this happens without your commitment to keeping this tradition alive.

And finally, thank you to our fans. Whether at home, on the road, or online, your support is incredible. The Rock River Baseball League is a hidden gem with a rich history, and the playoff baseball that gets put on the field is worth every bit of that $3 admission. Playing in front of a fan base like ours is a huge part of sustaining success.

As always — Go Canners. Let’s get it done next year.

Another weekend and another big home game for the Clyman Canners. Come out today at 1:00 PM and cheer on our boys as they play host to the Rubicon Red Sox in a massive Rock River Baseball League Grand Championship Matchup.

Rubicon is in a must win scenario while the Canners can secure their place in the Best of 3 Grand Championship Round with a win. A loss means an elimination game on Sunday at Rubicon.

Let's get out and cheer on the Canners as you enjoy a great Saturday at the park. We have had great crowds the last few weeks and it has been a difference maker.

*Please note there is also a wedding at the Clyman Lions Hall beginning at 3:30. We ask that all attending the baseball game please leave the parking lot open for the wedding attendees. There will be plenty of parking in the grass lot to the East as well as to the North.

We had a great crowd last weekend and this weekend we need to bring the energy once again as the Clyman Canners play host to the Milton Crescents Baseball on Saturday, August 15th - 1:00 PM. This is the 2nd Round of the Rock River Baseball League Grand Championship Playoffs.

Game 2 is always a big one and a win gives the Canners a Sunday BYE. A loss means the Canners will host the winner of the Rubicon/Farmington Game from Saturday.

Get the yard work done early and get out to the park!

⚾ Sometimes Life Throws a Curveball ⚾

In baseball, and in life, we're all thrown curveballs from time to time. Recently, Casey Grudzinski faced one of the toughest imaginable when a car accident resulted in the loss of his left arm.

But instead of striking out, Casey has shown incredible strength, resilience, and determination as he continues to move forward and make the best of a situation that could have been much worse.

As a young business owner who operates his own landscaping company, adapting to life with one arm presents daily challenges. The benefit being held this Saturday will help raise funds toward a prosthetic arm, giving Casey additional independence and the ability to continue pursuing the work he loves while adjusting to his new normal.

Many of you know Brent and Jessie Feilbach, who have been part of the Clyman program for several years. Brent served as our Brooks coach this past season, while their son Connor played on that team. Along with Casey's family, Brent and Jess are helping lead the effort to make this event a success.

The Clyman Canners program is proud to be stepping up to the plate in support of this event as well. Helping our local community and the people who make it great is what we are all about. By utilizing our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, we can help maximize fundraising efforts and provide additional support to help Casey achieve his goal of obtaining a prosthetic arm.

We know how supportive the Clyman community can be, and we're asking you to consider attending, donating, or simply helping spread the word. Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference for Casey and his family.

Thank you for supporting one of our extended baseball families. ❤️⚾
