For September’s Faces of the Cleveland Marathon, we’re highlighting two runners who left their mark on our race history: Pablo Vigil and Anne Audain.

Pablo won the UH Cleveland Marathon three times in 1980, 1981 and 1988. His fastest Cleveland finish came during his first victory when he ran 2:15:19.

Anne first raced the Cleveland 10K in 1982 after predicting she could run 31:45 to win and set a new course record. She ran exactly that and went on to win the 10K race seven times between 1982 and 1991.

Last weekend, we celebrated the incredible volunteers who help make UH Cleveland Marathon weekend possible! ❤️

From handing out water and snacks to placing medals around the necks of our finishers, every volunteer plays an important role in creating an unforgettable race weekend.
