We are saddened to share the passing of Robert “Bob” Van Cleave, a valued member of the Wooded View family.

Known to many as the “Cart Guy,” Bob was a familiar face who brought kindness, humor, and friendship to everyone at the course. He will be deeply missed by our staff, golfers, and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.

They don’t call it Wooded View for nothing… 🌳⛳

One of the larger trees on the course apparently got tired of watching golfers slice drives into the woods and decided to join the game yesterday. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and our golf course crew — along with a tree service — is already working on cleanup and checking the area for safety.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we get things cleared up!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Steven A. Sturgeon.

Since 2003, Steve was one of the faces of Wooded View Golf Course—a familiar presence to so many who visited over the years. He was someone our golfers and staff knew, trusted, and appreciated. Whether it was his knowledge of the game or his ability to fix just about anything, Steve left a lasting mark on everyone who spent time at the course.

He will be deeply missed by all of us at Wooded View.
