There’s more than golf to discover at Wooded View Golf Course.

From a striking polyphemus moth and colorful red-spotted purple butterfly to a monarch caterpillar on milkweed and an annual cicada, there’s plenty of wildlife to notice around the course.

Keep an eye out the next time you visit—you never know what you might spot just beyond the fairway.

We were happy to have you and appreciate everyone who helped make the event a success. We’re especially glad you were able to get the tournament in before the rain arrived! We’re glad to haveJoey at Wooded View! He does a great job working with golfers of all ages and skill levels.

Joey Steinert is the Assistant Golf Professional at Wooded View Golf Course in Clarksville, Indiana. A lifelong golfer, Joey has been passionate about the game since he was 10 years old and has competed at every level. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the golf industry, the sport has always been a central part of his life.

Since 2020, Joey has been teaching golfers of all skill levels, helping them build confidence, improve their game, and enjoy everything golf has to offer. He believes golf has had a profound impact on his life and is passionate about sharing that experience with others. Joey is excited to continue growing the game and helping every golfer reach their full potential, both on and off the course. See you Friday! 💚⛳️

We are saddened to share the passing of Robert “Bob” Van Cleave, a valued member of the Wooded View family.

Known to many as the “Cart Guy,” Bob was a familiar face who brought kindness, humor, and friendship to everyone at the course. He will be deeply missed by our staff, golfers, and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.

They don’t call it Wooded View for nothing… 🌳⛳

One of the larger trees on the course apparently got tired of watching golfers slice drives into the woods and decided to join the game yesterday. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and our golf course crew — along with a tree service — is already working on cleanup and checking the area for safety.

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we get things cleared up!
