2nd 12U showing and 20 degrees cooler and these girls showed up and showed out. Finishing 3rd on the day with a 3-5 loss in the semi finals. They are just getting started as a young team! Excited to see where they finish for Fall. It’s been exciting so far!! Back to the drawing board this week.

If it’s any team, it’s this team that can step on the field and go against the best of the best and still walk off wanting more. Our first 12U outing I put them in a 12B tournament no run limit tournament. We started slow being a young team and by game 3 they held a 2nd year 12U team to 8 runs and took them to 5 innings! Our defense showed up and our bats were fire hitting right at their defense. 😪 I’ll take this team to battle any day of the week! We left excited for what this season holds. They continue to trust the process and show up for each other. It was 115 degrees game 3 first bracket game and they didn’t lay down because they CAN DO HARD THINGS!

This group…they have BIG personalities this season starting 12U. Too cool for school sometimes. 🤪 and they so think Coach Britt is NOT cool but hey I try. 🤷🏼‍♀️ This song fits them perfectly for their team building after a very long HOT practice tonight. They are NEVER quiet on the creek 😜 Poor Ava Kayte took an entire buck of cold water but as always she was a good sport. Fun was had and they wanted a re do! Excited to start season as no matter what these girls show up for each other always and that is all we ask!
