I wanted to share an incredible adventure that I honestly would have never experienced if it weren’t for my daughter, Madison Haney.

We spent five days at Silver Spur Ranch Idaho with no phone service, no social media, no distractions just me, my daughter, 10 other amazing people from different walks of life, some incredible horses, and the Idaho mountains.

For five straight days, we completely disconnected from the world. And I didn’t realize how much I needed it.

We drove 37 head of horses 56 miles through the Idaho mountains, climbing thousands of feet on horseback. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. We sat around the fire pit. We talked. We laughed until we almost peed our pants. 😂 And most importantly, we spent real, uninterrupted time together.

As a dad, there are moments you wish you could just stop time and I had a lot of those moments this week.

I learned things about my daughter, and probably about myself, that everyday life doesn’t always give you the time to see. I laughed more than I have in years, and I was reminded just how much my daughter loves her dad. I don’t know that there’s anything a father could want more than that.

Madison, thank you for getting your dad completely outside his comfort zone and giving me an adventure and memories I will never forget.

If you’ve never completely disconnected from the world because you think you can’t do it trust me, you can. Sometimes getting away from everything is exactly what you need to remember what really matters.

A huge THANK YOU to Silver Spur Ranch, Bodie & Holly, Porter & Grace, Spencer, Ellie, and their amazing family for giving Madison and me a week we will never forget. You all made us feel like family, and this experience wouldn’t have been the same without you. We’ll see you all soon!

This week isn’t about racing, business, or the everyday grind it’s about something far more important. ❤️

Madison Haney and I are headed to Idaho to spend a week together in the mountains on horseback with Silver Spur Ranch Idaho. 🐎🏔️

We’ll be riding through the Idaho backcountry, moving horses, camping under the stars, sitting around the fire, and making memories that I know I’ll carry with me forever.

Life moves fast, and our kids grow up even faster. Sometimes you have to put everything else aside and make time for what truly matters.

For the next week, it’s just a dad, his daughter, a couple of horses, and the Idaho mountains.

This one is going to be special. ❤️
