❤️ CV Patriots Community – Let’s Support the Kernan Family ❤️

This past Sunday, our dear friends Al, Sallie, and Camden Kernan were involved in a very serious head-on collision while traveling home from a baseball tournament. Camden plays on the CV Patriots 13u team.
Al and Sallie were both life flighted to Wausau hospital and both sustained significant injuries and remain hospitalized as they begin what will be a long and challenging road to recovery. Camden has thankfully been discharged, but like any child who experiences such a traumatic event involving his parents, he has his own emotional journey ahead.
As you can imagine, the Kernan family is now facing not only the physical and emotional toll of this accident, but also the financial strain that comes with it, emergency transportation, hospital stays, ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, time away from work, and travel expenses for loved ones.
As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and support this amazing family during their time of need. We have set up a GoFundMe to help ease the burden so they can focus on healing.

What a statement weekend for the CV Patriots Baseball & Softball program, championship energy, clutch performances, and a whole lot of hardware coming home! Let’s break it down:

🏆 Champions Circle:
⚾ CV Patriots 9U – Wisconsin Rapids Takeover
Absolute dominance from the 9U squad!

✅ Record: 5-0
🥇 1st Place Champions
💨 Over 100 stolen bases on the weekend

Speed dominates, and this team proved it. With relentless pressure on the basepaths and consistent play all around, the 9U Patriots didn’t just win… they took Wisconsin Rapids by storm.

⚾ CV Patriots 10U – Phillips Northern Classic Champs
This lineup came locked in and refused to cool off.

✅ Record: 4-0
🥇 1st Place Champions

The bats were on fire all weekend, so hot you needed sunglasses just to watch. From top to bottom, this team brought energy, production, and a championship mentality to Phillips and aren't looking back!

A gritty, hard-fought run through the bracket for 14U Red. They battled their way into the championship and came up just 2 runs short of gold. A performance to be proud of and proof they can compete with anyone, anytime, anywhere! Great things ahead for this team!

🥉 CV Patriots 12U Blue – June Bug Tournament (Wisconsin Rapids)

🔟 3rd Place out of 10 teams!

The 12U Blue squad is heating up at just the right time. They battled all weekend against tough competition and came away with a strong podium finish. This group is starting to fire on all cylinders, so watch out! Each practice and each game, they become a force to be reckoned with!

The CV Patriots 9U boys rolled into Dyersville with wide eyes and big dreams. For these kids, stepping onto the famed Field of Dreams wasn’t just another tournament — it was walking into baseball history. The cornfields stretched tall and green, the air smelled like summer, and every swing felt like it carried a little magic.They played three games back‑to‑back, grinding through the heat and the long innings with pure heart. Each game brought more hustle — diving stops, clutch hits, and cheers echoing across the field. By the end, they were one game away from the championship, finishing third overall — a proud moment for a team that left everything on the diamond. Off the field, the fun didn’t stop. The boys hit the pool, splashing, laughing, and racing each other like they hadn’t just played hours of baseball. Between games, they explored the Field of Dreams movie site, walking where legends once stood and imagining their own future in the game.It was a weekend of baseball, friendship, and memories, the kind that remind everyone why they play — for the love of the game and the joy of being part of something bigger than themselves.

💙🥎 PATRIOTS IN FOND DU LAC! 🥎💙The Patriots 12u Red are out in Fond du Lac playing some seriously good softball, and the energy is high.And a huge shoutout to Brynn — absolute Patriots mentality today. She went down with an injury, missed an inning, then came right back in, battled, competed, and earned MVP of the game. That’s Patriot toughness. That’s Patriot pride.Moments like this build teams. Moments like this build athletes. WAY TO GO, BRYNN!

What a weekend. What a battle. What a tournament. 🔥

The 1776 Classic brought out the absolute best in every team that stepped on the field. From first pitch to the final out, we witnessed tight matchups, clutch moments, and games that came down to the wire. Every inning mattered and it showed.
💥 The competition was fierce, but so was the camaraderie.
Teammates became family, new friendships were built, and the energy throughout the weekend was something special.
🏆 And of course… the hardware was earned. Not given.
Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd place finishers who battled through it all and left their mark on this tournament. Championship grit was on full display. Below are the 1st and 2nd place finishers for each division!
This weekend was about more than wins and losses, it was about competing with pride, creating memories, and representing the game the right way. Softball and Baseball at it's finest!

🇺🇸 Today, we pause.
Our recap of an amazing weekend of softball and baseball at the 1776 Classic is coming tomorrow, but today, we take time to reflect on the sacrifices so many have made for our country.

The Patriots were founded to honor our service members and to always remember the courage, dedication, and ultimate sacrifices they made and continue to make for this great nation.

Freedom isn’t free. We remember. We honor. We thank you. 🙏
