Our hearts are with the Las Plumas Junior Thunderbirds organization, this young athlete, and his family during this difficult time.

As members of the Butte County youth sports community, we know that the bonds formed through athletics extend far beyond the field. Today, we stand alongside the Thunderbird family in sending our thoughts, prayers, and support as this athlete receives care and begins his recovery journey.

We ask our BCC families to join us in keeping him, his loved ones, teammates, coaches, and all those caring for him in your thoughts and prayers.

Our BCC Summer Cheer Camp starts TOMORROW and there are still a few spots available!

⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
👧 Ages 6–14

This fun, high-energy camp is perfect for beginners and athletes looking to build confidence, learn new skills, stay active, and make new friends this summer!

Throughout the week, campers will learn:
⭐ Cheer motions
⭐ Jumps
⭐ Dance
⭐ Tumbling basics
⭐ Teamwork and confidence-building skills
⭐ Fun cheer games and activities

Athletes will learn a short routine and perform for parents on the final day of camp!

This week our athletes took the floor for the first practices of the 2026 Full Year season, and we couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead.

At Butte Cheer Company, we believe success starts long before competition day. It starts with showing up, working hard, supporting your teammates, and committing to your goals every single day.

In observance of Memorial Day, Butte Cheer Company will be CLOSED on Monday. Regular classes and practices will resume Tuesday.
