The ageless one Adam Drake continues to collect JBRL series championships. So many now we have lost count, but it is around 40 😳

Adam runs ProTek RC servos, batteries, and accessories in his race program.

Way to go Adam!!!

The 2026 JBRL Series concluded a couple of weeks ago. I won the overall series for both nitro and electric truck, finished second in nitro buggy and third in electric buggy.

Amazing weekend for the ProTek RC Race Team in the Midwest. Jared Wiggins hosted the Fall Frenzy (156 entries) at the Wiggins Training Facility in Dixon, IL, and came home with the double victory in Nitro Buggy and eBuggy.

ProTek RC teammate Larry Wright IV also registered a double W with victories in Nitro Truggy and eTruggy. Larry finished third behind Wiggins and Dalton Balboa in Nitro Buggy. In fact, it was a ProTek RC Samurai RM.1 podium sweep in Nitro Buggy with Wiggins, Balboa, and Wright IV all running the Samurai power plant, and Wiggins reporting he was registering 10-minute run time with the Samurai engine, ProTek clutch, and ProTek 2135 pipe.

Just a little South, ProTek RC's Brandon Weekley won the King of the Hill series at the St. Louis Dirt Burners in Kirkwood, MO in both Nitro Buggy and eBuggy using a host of ProTek products, including the Samurai RM.1 engine in his nitro program.

Out west, ProTek RC young phenom AJ Rodriquez posted another PTK double with wins in both Expert Nitro Buggy and eBuggy at the Can-Am Northwest Nationals in Lyden, WA. AJ is powered up by ProTek batteries and the PTK Samurai RM.1 engine.

The ProTek RC Race Team showed up and showed out last weekend at the Adrenaline RC Raceway Invitational in Wi******er, VA, taking six class victories.

Bradley Lingerman led the way with two top of the box showings - first in Expert 1/8 eBuggy and Open 1/8 eTruggy. Additionally, Lee Setser was first in Invite Nitro Buggy, Ryan Stiles Harris first in Open 1/8 Nitro Truggy, Javon Mallory first in Open 1/8 Nitro Buggy, and Scott Belcastro first in 40+ 1/8 eBuggy.

Ethan Kovalsky led a ProTek RC team hardware haul today at the Kinwald Klassic at Hobby Action RC Raceway in Chandler, AZ.

Ethan took home three victories, winning Vintage 2wd 84/95, Vintage 4wd, and Vintage Stadium Truck running an assortment of ProTek RC batteries, servos, and accessories.

Team Associated and PTK pro Spencer Rivkin was the 2wd Modified Buggy winner, and PTK teammate Ryan Prince was victorious in Expert 4wd Buggy.

Rounding out the ProTek hardware parade was Chase Boyd with a second in both 2wd Modified Buggy and 13.5 2wd Stadium Truck.

ProTek RC was a proud sponsor of this weekend’s Kinwald Klassic, which raised $8,000 for the Chron’s and Colitis Foundation in the memory of the legendary Brian Kinwald. The race drew an astounding 288 entries!
