When Disappointment Becomes Fuel π
To every athlete who walked away from tryouts feeling disappointed this message is for you.
One tryout. One decision. One day.
None of those things define your future.
One of the greatest lessons Iβve learned as a coach is this:
We donβt lose. We learn.
Every setback is an opportunity to grow. Every disappointment teaches us something. Every obstacle gives us a chance to build resilience, determination, and the mindset necessary to become better.
If your dream is to play college volleyball, remember this:
Your journey is far from over.
What defines you isnβt what happened at tryouts. What defines you is what you do next.
At Wyoming Whirlwind, we believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to develop, improve their volleyball IQ, build confidence, and become the best version of themselves.
Over the next several days, our coaching staff will be meeting to discuss additional opportunities for athletes who want to continue growing and working toward their volleyball goals.
Our vision has always been bigger than just one club. We want to help raise the level of volleyball throughout Cheyenne and Wyoming.
There is tremendous talent in our community. We believe these athletes are capable of achieving great things, and we want to help them get there.
So if today hurts, donβt quit.
Donβt let disappointment define you.
Let it strengthen you.
Use it as fuel.
