EVENT INFO:
The Walnut Grove Classic is a “last man standing” style running event. (See Format below) The goal is to gather runners and supporters together to enjoy food, drinks, a peaceful/beautiful setting while testing their physical/mental limits 1 hour at a time.

***Event will continue until there are no more continuing runners, beyond March 5, 2023 if necessary.***
1. Entry Fee —NONE
2.Accommodation/Facilities
—Plenty of tent/car camping space will be available for runners+crews. There may be space for some RVs (please reach out first).
—Access to 3-4 indoor toilets and showers.
—Access to a full kitchen space
***Access to a heated saltwater pool!
+ Hot tub
3. Food and Drinks
—Hot foods, which may include Gumbo, Jambalaya, pasta salad, bbq etc
—snacks: candy, chips, cookies/brownies, crackers
—Coke, water, lemonade, Gatorade
FORMAT/COURSE/RESULTS/PRIZES:
Format—The runners will run a 4.16667 mile course. At the start of each hour, a runner must start their next 4.16667 mile lap to continue in the event. Runners will continue in the same way each hour until all runners have been eliminated either by withdrawing, not completing a current lap, or not starting the next lap at the hour mark.
Course—The course will consist of flat terrain, mostly grass with some grass/dirt and less than 1 mile of paved road/gravel road. It will pass through the Walnut Grove Plantation property and surrounding hayfields.
Results—Results for this event will be posted on the page, along with photos from the event.
Prizes—Despite it being a No entry fee, informal event. There will be the following prize money up for grabs, in order to incentivize runners to test their limits!
1st—300$
2nd—200$
3rd—100$
***In order to qualify, runners must complete at least 24 laps (100 miles)***
