The Derita Athletic Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to children in the Mecklenburg county area. We have provided sports activities to this community for over 61 years. Our mission is to give each child enrolled in our program and their families a memorable and enjoyable experience through our team sports programs. We promote and give our children a winning attitude through compe

ting in a team experience and strive to improve all playersโ€™ ability and knowledge in the sport while at the same time, provide them with such skills as self-discipline, leadership, and motivational skills.
