Made it back to the Rock Falls River Chase after church. My daughter & grandson joined me for the rest of the races. The first race I got to watch I saw one of the drivers hook & roll his boat. I wasn’t video taping at the time. Just a photo of him being towed back to the pits.

Great job in 2026! Looking forward to 2027.

Our 2026 season has officially come to an end.

After a lot of discussion, we’ve decided to stick to our original plan and skip San Diego Bayfair. Our focus now shifts to 2027 and continuing to build on what we started this year.

And make no mistake, we consider 2026 a success.

This was the first full year of the rebuild for Miss Madison Racing. We’ve got one of the youngest crews in the pits, with the addition of a few old guys to keep them straight… 😉

This group treated every lap, every heat and every weekend as a chance to learn. And one thing we’re especially proud of: we started and finished every heat we competed in this season and finished the year with zero penalties. That might not grab headlines, but for a young team building from the ground up, it matters.

Boat racing is a lot of data, a lot of trial and error, and a lot of figuring out what makes these things happy. We have plenty to go over this offseason and even more to look forward to in 2027.

But one of the biggest wins this year happened before we ever hit the water.

After 65 years, Miss Madison Racing opened a new chapter with Royer Corporation becoming the first local corporation to serve as title sponsor of the boat. Royer brought that hometown pride with us everywhere we went and helped us show race fans across the country what Madison, Indiana is all about.

Goodman Real Estate also became a big part of this journey and helped us take this hometown team all the way to the West Coast.

Now it’s time to dig into everything we learned, figure out our 2027 plan and get to work.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this season. We know some people only judge success by the results sheet, but this team is about more than that. It’s about the people, the town on the side of the boat and the pride that comes with representing Madison against the best teams in the world.

We’re proud of what we built in 2026.

Now we go make it better.
