I am so incredibly proud of our team yesterday bringing Lewis County Rodeo to not just the NW but to the world. I want to thank Queen Kylee Smith for a job very well done. Mom and dad Russ Smith for his hauling in Portland traffic, and Tami Smith for her endless hours of final decoration preps. Benny's Florist for the stunning flower packs and neck decoration. And Simpson Leather for your beautiful chaps, and serape work. As the court advisor it was amazing to see the idead that were stored in my head come to life. I couldn't be more proud. I'm back in the Grand FloralParade saddle once again, and loved every moment. Thank you!!!

Kylee Smith our 2026 Lewis County Rodeo Queen was selected to attend the Portland Rose Festival / Grand Floral Parade, representing the Lewis County Rodeo Association and the Southwest Washington Fair.

As the 2026 Lewis County Rodeo Queen, I would like to send a big thank you to Centerville Western Stores the biggest sponsor of our Lewis County Rodeo. They sponsored the new Boots and Jeans I will be riding in during this parade.

Next, I would like to thank Benny's Florist for donating all there time and heartfelt effort into building the flower pack and flower breast collar for this parade, and did I mention it requires all real flowers!

A huge thank you to Simpson Custom Leather for making our beautiful Chaps and Serapes. I absolutely love the leather tooling, the colors that are brought together and how they fit.

I would also like to thank Professional Farriery LLC for putting the rubber shoes on my horse that are required for this parade.

I would love to recognize and thank Tack Room Too for helping me design my beautiful Double J Saddlery trophy saddle, which will make its first appearance at this parade.

Another thank you goes to Patti Mills our Rodeo Court Coordinator for putting all this together. Without her organizing and planning for this parade, none of it would be possible.

Finally, a big thank you to my parents Russ Smith and Tami Smith for always supporting me and for hauling my horses and I to all of these events.

So grateful for my visit to the LC Christian Co‑op in Winlock last Friday! Sharing about the fair and rodeo with the kids was such a joy. Their curiosity, giggles, and big dreams made the whole morning unforgettable. It was so fun spending the morning with Little Miss Friendly, Miss Lewis County, and Miss Lewis County’s Teen.
